Apprentice

Makayla is a mom to 3 beautiful girls that are her world! She has always been passionate about hair, and after being a stay home mom for 6 years, decided to finally follow her dreams for a career in the hair industry in 2024. Earlier in 2025, she finished up her apprenticeship through Blonde Magnolia and became licensed. She has continued to be educated and trained with Redken, Hanzo, Kevin Murphy, Masters of Balayage, and more. Makayla is also a certified Bellami Extension Master Stylist.

Makayla is passionate about modern hair color, whether it’s “old money blonde” or “expensive brunette”, to give you that luxurious, effortless, and low maintenance look to enhance your natural hair and features! She also loves adding in extensions and the look they help give, because who doesn’t love some extra inches and thickness!?

Josie is currently in the process of obtaining her licenses through Blonde Magnolias apprenticeship program. When she’s not in the salon you can find her at Georgia games in the fall, Bible studies with friends, and traveling with her family! ** Please note if you book an appointment with an apprentice they are in training and still learning. They do not qualify for the adjustment policy and will adhere to the apprentice agreement presented at the beginning of the appointment.

Cancelation Policy:
Appointment Cancellation will be accepted through our text reminder services as well as phone calls or voicemails left with the salon. Appointments that are canceled through email or social media will NOT be accepted.
Any same-day cancellation or no-show for a non-chemical service will result in a $8 charge, while any same-day cancellation or no-show for a chemical service will result in a $40 charge. You will be considered a no-show if you arrive 15 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment time, or if you fail to arrive at all.
Service Policy for Minor Clients:
To maintain clear communication, establish service expectations, and verify final pricing, a parent or guardian must be present for the initial service consultation when a minor is receiving a service. The parent or guardian is responsible for payment, and their attendance ensures all details are agreed upon upfront by all parties (client, guardian, and stylist). If the parent or
guardian chooses not to be present for the mandatory consultation, they forfeit the right to weigh in on or contest the service result afterward, as expectations could not be mutually established. Once the consultation is complete and the service
expectations are set, the parent or guardian is welcome to leave, and they do not need to remain for the full appointment duration.
